I low key kind of miss it!!
It really had its charm, I've got the feeling that I didn't enjoy my week to the fullest because I wasn't trying to, I was still lazy and unmotivated to do anything and it's fucking freezing outside to do anything
I also have the feeling that I didn't do anything "typical of the 2000s": I didn't chat on forums, burn cd's, and especially I didn't spend my time doing my hobbies
Being back in the present year has made me, however, much more distracted and anxious, perhaps even stupider! I don't do anything nowadays, there might be days where I just watch reels which is no bueno
Christmas break is coming up soon and I might perhaps do something similar, I'll have to announce it more formally though, since I low key felt kind of lonely during those times,... such is life. I also have to get over the fear of just calling people, thing is I had a different phone number so not everybody picked up my calls, especially because they might've thought were scams, which is a completely rational belief... Obliging somebody to do the same might be fun though, you know... You hang out with your 2000's buddy for a week or so, perhaps even a month, you both know you're on the same boat so it's much more natural that way, less awkward when you get a random call from an unknown number.
Also another thing, people don't really read their SMS inbox, i don't know why, people just use whatsapp here... I know I fall in this one category.
